This event was a viewing party at Lee Vasi's mother's office on Sunday night for her first appearance on American Idol. 20-year-old Vasi, surrounded by family and friends, watched herself sing a favorite Commodores song, "Zoom," with "Idol" judge (and former Commodore) Lionel Richie. She was also shown performing Toni Braxton's "Love Shoulda Brought You Home." The judges weren't crazy about her rendition of the song but really liked Vasi and gave her one of the show's golden tickets to Hollywood. On Monday night's show - which focused on the start of the show's Hollywood Week - Vasi easily made it through the group round. Next up, the remaining singers will vie individually during Hollywood Week for a chance at making the top 24. The next episode of "American Idol" airs Sunday at 8 p.m. on WTVD-11.
