Linda Faye Binder, 79, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023.
Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Renfrow; father, Willard Renfrow; brothers, Gilbert Renfrow and Roland Renfrow; and sister, Ruby Aiken. She is survived by her spouse, Harry Binder; daughters, Joanie Smith, Belinda Abendschein and husband, Mark; son, Robert Goggio and wife, Anita; sister, Helen Weaver and husband, Ray; grandchildren, Lauren Prince and husband, Dominic, Natalie Jones, Matthew Smith, Kylie Abendschein, and Justin Boyles; great grandchildren, Braeden Jones, Renley Prince, and Presley Smith; and her six nieces and four nephews.
Linda was a lifelong member of the Fayetteville and Hope Mills community and was also a longtime member of New Life P.H. Church. Her career included The Ambassador Animal Hospital, Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Cumberland County Public School System, and Golden Star Electronics, which later became Harry’s Electronics. Linda loved her family dearly. She loved her Christian faith and Jesus. She enjoyed reading her Bible, coloring, painting, and spending time with her loved ones. Linda touched the hearts of so many and was loved beyond measure. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9 to 9:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Lafayette Memorial Park.
