Lonnie Paul, 63, of Sanford went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 18, 2023. Lonnie was born to the late Etta Lea Perdok and Leonard Carroll Paul on July 13, 1960 in Portsmouth, Virginia. Besides his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by his stepfather Stephan Peridok, brother Lennie Paul and sister Sharron Hoddinott. Lonnie leaves many cherished memories with his loving wife of 41 years, Rosalie Higgs Paul; children, TaLisa Kohan (Kenneth Kohan) and Lauren Paul (Danny O’Brien); 1 grandchild, Kelsie Kohan; brother, Larry Paul (Linda Paul); sister Beverly Paul; nieces and nephews Nikolas-Kenia, Javier, Adam, Drew, Emmanuel and Nathalie. Lonnie was a man of faith and compassion. He loved his Lord, his family, and his friends. He enjoyed sports, traveling and sharing the gospel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made in honor of Lonnie to Manna Church in Fayetteville, NC. There will be a Celebration of Life for family and friends on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 2pm at Manna Church’s Cliffdale Site located at 5117 Cliffdale Rd, Fayetteville, NC. Burial will be held at a later date.
