Man shot in domestic dispute on Raeford Road, police say

A man was in stable condition after being shot in a domestic dispute early Friday in the 6300 block of Raeford Road, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

The shooting was reported about 2:30 a.m. Friday, a police news release said. Officers said the man had been shot multiple times.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment and was reported in stable condition, the release said.

Investigators said the shooting was domestic-related. Detectives with the Police Department’s Aggravated Assault Unit are investigating.
