Man, woman arrested on drug charges after tips about Hilltop Avenue residence

Multiple anonymous tips to CrimeStoppers about drug activity on Hilltop Avenue led to the arrest of a man and woman on drug charges, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

Members of the Campbellton District Community Empowerment Response Team searched a residence in the 1300 block of Hilltop Avenue on Wednesday. They seized:

  • Two shotguns. 
  • One handgun. 
  • 91 grams of rock cocaine.
  • 92 grams of marijuana. 
  • Ammunition. 
  • Drug paraphernalia. 

Brian Boros, 37, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or distribute a controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling for drug sales. He was given a $10,000 secured bond.

Serena Butscher, 23, was served on outstanding arrest orders for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was given a $1,000 secured bond.
