My loving mother, Margaret Jeffrey, died peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, in her home at the age of 95.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was born in Roxboro, NC on February 8, 1930.  Mama dedicated her life to God, her family, and her church.  She was a longstanding and devoted member of Lebanon Baptist Church where she served for 58 years.  She demonstrated her love and service to others by sharing her time, cooking, sewing, crafting, and baking.  She always had a warm embrace for everyone, a prayerful heart, and a testimony to share with all the people she met.

Margaret is survived by her son, Terry Jeffrey (wife, Amy); 2 grandchildren, Travis Jeffrey (wife, Lynn) and Lance Jeffrey; and 2 grandchildren, Cooper and Caden Jeffrey.  She has 3 wonderful nephews and 8 nieces.

Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Lebanon Baptist Church with Pastor Tommy Knight, Pastor John Campbell, Pastor Rodney Hicks, and Pastor Wesley Pritchard, officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 pm with the service following.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cole Humphrey Memorial Endowment, Cumberland Community Foundation, Inc. at 308 Green St., P.O. Box 2345, Fayetteville, NC 28302 or http://www.Cumberland CF.org

Philippians 4:7 tells us that “The Peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus”.  Mama, your love has come full circle and you will always be remembered in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew you.   LG LEO (Loving God and Loving Each Other)
