The Fayetteville Marksmen and Cross Creek Mall have partnered to unveil the new mascot, as well as the name as chosen by the fans, on Saturday, August 26, 2017.
“The mascot is our way to engage with the community,” Marksmen CEO/Owner Chuck Norris said. “He is going to be actively involved with the community, in the schools and all-around Fayetteville.”
“The red fox was an easy choice for us,” added team President/Owner, Jeff Longo. “It’s native to North Carolina and works on the hockey level and the community level. The fox is fierce, but also soft and cuddly.”
