Mary Elouise Lambert, 88, passed away on March 21, 2026.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Lofton & Ella Hudson; her sisters, Kathleen Hudson, Teresa Hawkins, Eva Ammons, & Blanche Hudson; her husband, Delbert Lane Lambert, Sr.; and her daughter, Deborah Webb.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Cathy Smith, of Fayetteville, NC; her sons, Delbert Lambert and wife, Carolyn Lambert, of Kinston, NC, Todd Lambert, and wife, Crystal Lambert, of Lumberton, NC, Gary Lambert, of Fayetteville, NC, & Stephen Lambert, of Hope Mills, NC; her honorary son, Jim Thompkins, of Fayetteville, NC; along with her 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Mary was a dedicated employee, serving 38 years in the Vital Statistic Office at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
A visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held the following day at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home, starting at 11am with Pastor Jay Barr officiating.
