Rev. Maurice L. Lancaster, 90, of Fayetteville, went home to be with his Lord, on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 10 am at Sullivan's Highland Chapel with Rev. Perry Roberts presiding. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Maurice is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen Blount Lancaster; daughters, Tambera Hill and husband Nick of Sunset Beach and Dr. Marcia Lancaster of Fayetteville; grandson, Phillip Hill of Apex; brother, Tryon D. Lancaster and wife Anne of Fayetteville; and brother-in-law, Earl Vaughan, Sr. of Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory United Methodist Church, 404 Quality Road, Fayetteville NC 28306.
