Mobile home damaged in Saturday morning fire


The Fayetteville Fire Department is investigating a Saturday morning fire that damaged a mobile home and left one person displaced.

The Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire at 6:30 a.m. on the 1100 block of Alco Circle in the Alco Mobile Home Park, the department said in a news release.

The first units on the scene reported a mobile home fully involved. 

The occupant had evacuated the mobile home before the Fire Department arrived, the release said. The American Red Cross is helping the displaced occupant.

Damage was estimated at $10,000, the release said.
