Ray leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife, Deidra Roberts; three sons, Derrick Roberts of Germany, Kendle Roberts of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Ethen Roberts of Newport News, Virginia; and his beloved mother, Velma Brown of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
He also leaves to mourn two sisters, Shirl Roberts of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Verlisa Batiste of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one brother, Craig Roberts of Boston, Massachusetts.
Ray also leaves his mother-in-law, Doretha Locke of Hope Mills, North Carolina; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Domethiusa Locke, Joseph Locke, Earl Elliott (Juanita), all of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Rosie Roberts of Lumberton, North Carolina, and Allesha McKoy (Christopher) of Raleigh, North Carolina.
He is also survived by his aunt, Foldie Roberts, wife of his late uncle David Roberts; his uncles, Thurmond Roberts (Mary Ann) of Lumberton, North Carolina, and Muhammed Abdullah (Marcia) of Fayetteville, North Carolina; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
