But we’re waking up to bitterly cold temperatures this morning. That’s prompted Cumberland County Schools to operate on a two-hour delay. Due to HVAC issues, two schools—E.E. Miller Elementary School and Westover High School—stuck with remote learning on Tuesday.

🥶 The bitter cold that followed Winter Storm Fern to Fayetteville prompted Cumberland County to open offices with a one-hour delay on Tuesday. Most county offices will open at 9 a.m., with libraries at 10 a.m. The city and county also opened warming centers and shelters through Thursday.
