Good morning. A crowd of political hopefuls usually lines up outside the door of the Cumberland County Board of Elections on the first day of the candidate filing period. But the filing typically starts at noon, not at 8 a.m. like it did on Monday. By the end of the day, three people filed for Fayetteville mayor, and 17 others filed for other seats.
