Robert Van Geons is president of the Fayetteville Cumberland County Economic Development Corporation, a public-private partnership that works on behalf of the local government to attract high-value companies to Cumberland County. At a joint meeting of Fayetteville and Cumberland County elected officials, Van Geons praised recent projects, from an air dome manufacturer choosing Fayetteville as its new headquarters to an aerospace manufacturing company promising to invest $870 million in the local economy.
