Good morning. For our May “Home & Garden” magazine, we checked back in with nonprofit Er’Body Eatz founder J’Kwan Fulmore and his progress on fighting food insecurity in Cumberland County. A month ago, he hosted volunteers at Cliffdale Community Church, where he hopes to create a homestead. Read the update in today’s lead story.

Fighting food insecurity through mutual aid

J’Kwan Fulmore founded the nonprofit Er’Body Eatz to tackle food injustice in Cumberland County. With the help of the community, the nonprofit is building a homestead and gardens in blighted neighborhoods to provide residents with fresh produce.
