Paint 'n' Sip, hosted by Cape Fear Studios, 148 Maxwell St., is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. May 26. Classes are $40, and all materials are included. All classes are BYOB. Those who would like to attend must sign up the day before the event.
All classes are part of Cultural Arts and Military Outreach (CAMO). This program is provided through a grant from the Arts Council of Fayetteville-Cumberland County. The program offers free classes and art materials for active-duty personnel, veterans, and their family members who are looking for therapeutic and enjoyable ways to develop their artistic skills. One demographic is family members of active-duty personnel who have been deployed. Another target demographic is veterans who have previously been deployed and their family members.
