Pamela Scott Langevin, 65, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Pamela was born on April 10, 1958, in Cumberland County to the late James and Shirley Scott.

She was a 1976 graduate of Pine Forest High School and a member of Northwood Temple where she served in her younger years. She was also a member of the JFL. Pamela was currently working part time as a Customer Service Coordinator at Banfield.

Pamela had a huge heart and a love for animals, especially her many cats, dogs, and Jax, a dog she adopted from her neighbor. She was known as Mama Pam to all the many children she adopted and was known for cooking Lasagna for the troops.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Martin Langevin; daughters, Peyton Paulson, and Jessica Paulson; brother, Jeff Scott, and wife Peggy; 4 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
