The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County threw open the doors of ArtsXL, a multi-use facility that supporters hope creates a hub for creatives and nonprofits.

The council showed off the facility, located at 214 Burgess St., during a community open house on February 5. The first two residents of the building are the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra and Cumberland Choral Arts.

“ArtsXL is a launchpad where local artists and arts organizations rehearse, grow, and share their work with the community,” said Bob Pinson, the council’s president and CEO, in a prepared statement. “Powered by the Arts Council, this purpose-built space transforms passion into performance and ambition into impact.”
