Picasso Ceramic Exhibit Opens at McCune Gallery

Posted
Methodist University is pleased to bring the community the Picasso ceramic exhibit, opening tonight, February 20 at the David McCune International Gallery.

While Picasso may not be as well known for his ceramic works, they are an impressive sight and have themes centered around animals and nature.

Methodist University is the only Southeastern stop for  "Picasso: 25 Years of Edition Ceramics from the Rosenbaum Collection." Marvin Rosenbaum is a collector from Boca Raton, Florida who even traveled to southern France to meet the Madoura potters.

Methodist University hopes bringing such a renowned artists' exhibit to the area will be commerce to Fayetteville. They view this exhibit to make our All-America City a destination.

The reception for the exhibit is at at 6:30 p.m. tonight.

Gallery hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4:00 p.m.
