Ricky Dennis Huff passed away at home in Fayetteville, NC on the eve of his 69th birthday. He was born the fourth of five sons to D.R.Huff, Jr. and Emogene Huff and raised in Ashely Heights in Hoke County, NC among a close neighborhood of family and friends. Ricky had farming in his blood and though he worked many jobs in his life, he most loved being outside driving a tractor. He was meticulous by nature and as a very young child would often be seen tucking in his shirt to perfection. He was also meticulous with maintenance of equipment and with any task he undertook. As a boy, he loved horses and competed in barrel racing. He ran the 440 in track at Hoke High. He loved music and enjoyed singing with the Huff brothers on special occasions.
Ricky had a warm personality and touched many lives. He loved everyone and was loved. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Randy, who at one year older, shared many of his young adventures. He leaves behind brothers Ralph and wife Linda, Ron and wife Charlotte and Rusty. He also leaves behind his beloved daughters Lauren Merceron, husband Tyler and grandsons Grayson Denver, Kai Elias and Rhys Sinclair Merceron; and his daughter Ashley Collins and husband Hobe.
