Roxanne Cato, 53, of Fayetteville passed away on September 9, 2022.

Roxanne Cato was preceded in death by Gertrude Timm. She is survived by her mother, Rosemarie Timm; father, Anthony Cummings; daughter, Alyssa Timm-Williams; sons, Shayne Timm and Xavier Timm-Williams; siblings, Sheldon Cummings, Michelle Cumberbatch, Claudine Cummings, Safiya Cummings; and grandchildren, Dawn and Levi Timm; Zorya, Giselle, and Xayn Williams

Roxanne Cato embodies the life-long pursuit of knowledge; the unyielding spirit of a devoted mother; the compassion necessary to bring forth the happiness in our lives. Roxanne honorably served in our nation’s Army for over 18 years. Tireless efforts were made to better her life and the lives of her children. Her strength and will to overcome any oppression is carried on by all whose lives she’s touched. Rest now; we carry you in our hearts that you may see your dreams actualized.

Love is patient; love is not jealous,

It does not brag, does not get puffed up.

Does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interest

Does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury

It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with all the truth

It bears all things, believes all things, hope all things, and endures all things.

Love never fails.

1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
