Our beloved mother, Semiramis Teresa Rodriguez, 80, originally from Alto Mayor, Dominican Republic, passed away in her home in Fayetteville, surrounded by her family, on Friday, September 8, 2023. 

Teresa is survived by her devoted husband, Ramon Eufemio Ramirez, sharing 57 years of marriage; her amazing little sister, Patria Ediza Rodriguez; her children, Mony Cristy Batista, Robert Ramirez (and wife Irene), Edward Ramirez (and wife Damaris Rodriguez), and Michelle Ramirez; her grandchildren, Monika Morales, Roberto Morales, Rodolfo Morales, Robert Ramirez II, Isabella Ramirez, Sophia Ramirez, Edward Ramirez II, Darlene Ramirez, Darren Ramirez, Dillon Ramirez, and Davian Ramirez Barnes; and several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kirsten Ramirez. 

The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, with a funeral service in the funeral home chapel, beginning at 3 p.m.  A visitation and services will also take place at Rivera Funeral Home, 1260 St. Nicholas Ave., New York, NY 10033, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023.  A Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, at Incarnation Catholic Church, 1290 St. Nicholas Ave., New York, New York, followed by a burial at St. Raymond Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Ave., Bronx, New York 10465.
