State technology leaders coming to Fayetteville for ‘Digital Divide’ listening tour

Session scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at Fayetteville Tech

The North Carolina Department of Information Technology will bring its “Closing the Digital Divide Listening Tour to Fayetteville on Tuesday.

The session is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Tony Rand Student Center at Fayetteville Technical Community College, according to a Cumberland County news release.

County residents are invited to discuss barriers to high-speed internet access, digital devices, affordability and digital skills in the community.

State officials hope to learn about strategies and services that work well here.

The Student Center is at 2220 Hull Road
