Teresa Ann ((Minor)) Beckham

Teresa Ann Beckham, 65, of Hope Mills passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Womack Medical Center. She was born in Greenwood, S.C. in 1956 to the late James Minor, Jr., and Lena Lindley. Teresa was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived for her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Her fondest memories as an Army wife were those in Okinawa, Japan. The one thing Teresa knew how to do best was live life to the fullest. Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Retired MSG William “Bill” Edward Beckham, Jr.; parents, James Minor, Jr., and Lena Lindley; her brothers, Jerold Minor and Tommy Minor. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Melissa Tennille Beckham (Won Chang) of Fayetteville; her son, William Edward Beckham, III of Hope Mills; her beloved grandson, Garen Bruce Beckham-Chang and granddaughter, Berklin Elysia Beckham-Chang; her brother, Michael Minor of Greenwood, SC; and special “children by heart”, SFC Brian Jones (Daniela), their child, Malikai of Texas and Donna Graves Bean (David) of Iowa, their children, Austin, Christopher, Shelby, Tessa, Sacha, Nikolas. A funeral service will be held at 12 pm (Noon) Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home with burial to follow at 10 am Tuesday, January 18 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm Friday, January 14 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.
