Terry Eugene Farr Sr., 71, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a long battle with cancer on March 12, 2022.
Terry is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Farr. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 50 years, Deborah M. Farr of the home; mother, Marie Farr of Lockport, NY; son; Terry E. Farr Jr. (Heather) of Creedmoor, NC; daughter, Angela Farr of Saint Pauls, NC; grandson, Chavis Smith Jr. of Burlington, NC; and great granddaughter, Serenity Johnson of Burlington, NC.
Terry was born February 12, 1951, in Lockport, NY to Gerald and Marie Farr. He loved to travel, cruise around, fish, watch cooking shows on tv, spend time with family and go out to breakfast. Terry proudly served 20 years in the US Airforce where he retired and enrolled at Methodist University where he earned two bachelor’s degrees. He had a love of teaching and was a man of many trades, owning his own real estate school where he was an agent as well as instructor and locksmith shop.
Terry was a Grand knight in Knights of Columbus. He had a love for magic tricks, going as far as to become a magician as well as a hypnotist. Terry and his amazing sense of humor will deeply be missed.
A Visitation Service will be held at 12pm followed by a Memorial Service at 1pm on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at St. Patricks Catholic Church with Father Sparrow officiating.
