Terry L. McCue

August 11, 1979 ~ November 4, 2022

Posted

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved son, brother, and uncle, Terry McCue.

Terry passed away on November 4, 2022, at his parents’ home in North Carolina after three months of courageously battling cardiac issues.

Terry was born on August 11,1979 in Waukegan, IL. He was a military “brat” and lived in places such as Heidelberg, Germany and Seoul, South Korea. He graduated in 1997 from Seoul American High School.  He went on to study Business at Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his academic career at Syracuse University in New York with a double Master’s degree in Business Administration and Public Administration.

Terry’s dedication to his education was secondary to the love and loyalty he had for his friends and family. Everyone that knew Terry was embraced by his big heart and giving nature. He will be deeply missed by his parents, who he enjoyed having Sunday dinners with, his sisters, who he cherished and protected, his nephews that looked up to their Uncle T for everything “cool”, and his closest friends and family spread all across the US. He was a huge fan of all things football - especially the Buckeyes and the Browns.

Although Terry’s time on this earth was cut short, his time was not wasted. He brought joy and laughter to so many people throughout his lifetime. His memory will be talked about in loving stories of past celebrations, shared in the circles he occupied in his life. They will live forever in those that loved and knew him best.

Terry is survived by his parents Scott and Chong McCue, sisters Mary Robbins, Lodi Alejandrino, brother in laws Christopher Robbins and Ian Alejandrino, nephews Ethan Robbins, Preston Robbins, and niece Emma Alejandrino.
