Thomas Henry Godbold, 82, of Lake Waccamaw, NC passed away on December 30, 2023.
Thomas leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Julia Hair Godbold; brother, Larry Neal Godbold and wife, Charotte; brother-in-law, Terry Carpenter; sister-in-law, Dianne Bledsole Godbold; seven nieces, two nephews; and his great niece and nephew. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, JT and Annie Jane Godbold; brothers, Charles Hugh Godbold and Ralph Alan Godbold; sister, Wanda Godbold Carpenter.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 6th, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:45 PM. A Funeral service will be held at 2 PM in the Rogers and Breece Chapel with Reverend Ed Beddingfield officiating. Burial to follow the service at Lafayette Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Sudan Shriners Temple for the Crippled Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 12829 New Bern, NC 28561, in Thomas’ honor.
