Vision Resource Center first annual "Out of Sight Dining" event

Mark your calendars for the “Vision Resource Center” first annual “Out of Sight Dining” event in Fayetteville, Friday June 22nd, at Highland Country Club starting at 7:00 pm. Come join us for Fine “Blindfolded” Dining and experience what it is like to be visually impaired. Enjoy special music on the grand piano from 13 y/o Michael Macias who has been blind since four months old performing selected pieces and his original composition “The Listening Walk”. Following dining, dance the night away with Essential Elements “Smooth Jazz Band”.

ALL proceeds from this event will help support our local Vision Resource Center servicing the needs of the blind and visually impaired of all ages with a wide range of programs and services to include van transportation, healthy living programs, Braille classes, computer classes, EARS (Easy Access Reading Services), outdoor activities, Youth Program (reaching out to ALL visually impaired kids in Cumberland county) to include monthly activities, summer camp and transition programs for students preparing them for work or college.
