Wallace M. Thrash, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.  Family surrounded him at his passing.

Wallace was born on November 26, 1933, in Wetumpka, Alabama Wallace.  He was proceeded in death by his father, Macon Thrash, mother, Julia Thrash, brother, Stancil Thrash, brother, James (Buddy) Thrash, brother Bennie Thrash, brother, Charles Thrash, and brother Julian Thrash.

Wallace was a proud Air Force Veteran that served his country.  He was an avid Alabama Football fan that closely followed their on-the-field performance from a very early age.  He also loved planting a garden and sharing the fruits of his growing success with family and friends, he loved making people laugh, and he loved his family. 

A gathering of friends will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 1-2 pm at Carroll Memorial Baptist Church.  Services will be held at 2 pm on that day.

Wallace is survived by his loving wife, Betty Thrash, son, Julian Thrash (Janet), daughter, Joan Marsh (Johnny) and daughter, Joyce Thrash; sister, Ann Cain, sister, Betty Martin, and sister, Mary Gibbs; grandson, Austin Marsh (Amanda), grandson, Wesley Marsh (Maria), granddaughter, Katherine Lencall (Brandon), grandson Julian Thrash III, granddaughter, Josselyn Thrash, great-granddaughter Addyson Marsh, great-granddaughter Reagan Lencall, great-grandson Jaxson Marsh, great-granddaughter Hadley Lencall, great-grandson Noah Marsh, and great-grandson Cayden Lencall.
