2013 Grant Cycle Announced

Fayetteville, N. C.: The Women’s Giving Circle of Cumberland County announces its 2013 grant application cycle. Non-profits in Cumberland County may apply for grants up to $50,000.

The focus for the 2013 grant cycle covers the following support services for homeless women and children: housing, food, education, job training, GED, financial literacy, health, and linkage to resources. Grant requests must be for new or existing projects and may cover any or a combination of these services.

The deadline for submission of Letters of Inquiry is 5 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2013.

The Women’s Giving Circle is an organization of more than 135 women in Cumberland County whose purpose is to impact substantial, positive change for women and children in Cumberland County through philanthropy and education. Funds are held and maintained by the Cumberland Community Foundation who serves as host for audit, bookkeeping and administrative purposes.
