The Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater will host its eighth annual My Time to Shine Talent Competition on March 19 at 7 p.m. The theater is at 315 N. Chestnut St., Lumberton.
The competition will feature 14 contestants competing in all categories of talent, from singing and dancing to instrumental and more. The winner will receive a $1,000 prize, with second place receiving $500 and third place $250. There also will be a People’s Choice Award based on ticket sales for each contestant and donations made during purchase checkout.
Masks will be required for admission.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at www.carolinaciviccenter.com. Tickets may also be purchased weekdays from 1 to 5:30 p.m. at the theater’s administrative offices or by calling 910-738-4339. The lobby box office opens for ticket sales one hour prior to performances.
