A man and woman were arrested on drug charges after a search of a room at the Coliseum Inn, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

On Thursday, officers searched Room 134 of the motel, located at 2507 Gillespie St., a news release said. They found 5.34 grams of marijuana and 3.74 grams of Fentanyl, the release said.

Frank Jesse Fain, 36, of Fayetteville, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon; possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver drugs; possession with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver marijuana; manufacturing drugs; and maintain a dwelling for drug sales, the release said.

Emilie Barger Meyer, 43, of Fayetteville, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon; two counts of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver drugs; manufacturing drugs; and maintaining a dwelling to sell drugs, the release said.

Fain and Meyer were held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $35,000 secured bond each. Their first appearance in court is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Monday.
