Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman suspected of using a stolen debit or credit card to purchase thousands of dollars’ worth of items from Best Buy, according to a news release.

The woman used a stolen card twice in January to buy products from the electronics store at 2034 Skibo Road, the release said.

The woman is described as heavy-set with long black hair. Both times, she was carrying a red or burgundy woman’s wallet, the release said.

Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to contact Detective J. Bergamine at 910-705-2093 or CrimeStoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477) or http://fay-nccrimestoppers.org.
