Clifford “Kippy” Dillon II, an adored husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away at the age of 80 on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
Kippy is survived by his wife, Edna Dillon; son, Clifford Dillon III; and granddaughter, Tyler Chavonne, and husband Tyson Chavonne.
Born in Provincetown, Massachusetts, but living with his wife, Edna of 61 years in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Kippy retired from Carolina Telephone after 35 years, He then worked at Gill Security Systems for 20 years, where he was able to put his love for helping people on full display.
Kippy never met a stranger. Everyone was just a friend he hadn’t met yet. He gloated about his family and not one opportunity to brag about his granddaughter passed him by. Kippy will be deeply missed by so many.
Respecting Kippy’s wishes, there will be no formal arrangements, but family, friends, and others whose lives Kippy touched are welcome to send their condolences or donate in his memory to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or Fayetteville Animal Protection Society.
Kippy… thank you for being you and being a friend and a professional client too for 20 years. Go make everyone laugh and love life forever in God’s hands!! Forever loved for us on this Earth. Prayers to your beloved family.
