We the family and friends have assembled here today to pay respects to our beloved Robert Earl Harris. Robert Earl Harris was affectionately known to friends and family as “Bob” was born on April 4th 1948 to the late Eutricia Mae and Calvin Harris. He was educated at W.B. Wicker High School in Sanford, North Carolina.at the age of 18 he graduated and moved to New York City. Robert was employed at AT&T where he retired and his eldest daughter Mary Jeanine Harris was born. On May 27,1978 he married the love of his life Shirley Stroble and from that union two daughter were born Kendra and Whitney Harris.
Robert departed this life on Friday Jan 2nd at 1:26pm at Duke University Hospital in Durham N.C.
He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters’ Mary Jeanine Harris (Atl), Kendra Harris (Qns), Whitney Harris (Qns), grandchildren Kristopher, Felicia, Rebekah, Harper and two Great-grands Chancye and Charm along with his brother George Harris (Sybil), Theola Harris, Steven Harris (Edwina) and a host of nieces and nephews. Robert will be remembered most for his love of travel cooking, gardening and most of all family.
