Andrew Joseph Kohan, 68, of Spring Lake went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 31, 2023, while surrounded by his family.
Andy “Pops” Kohan was born to the late Andrew and Viola Kohan on February 21, 1955 in Hooversville, PA. Besides his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his wife Russell Ann Kohan, son Joseph M. Kohan, and sisters Debra and Kimberly.
Andy leaves many cherished memories to his loving children, Kenneth Kohan (TaLisa Kohan), Susan Holloman (Billy Holloman), Andy Kohan (Jennifer Kohan); (5) grandchildren; Kelsie Kohan, Liliana and Isabella Holloman, Alexandria and Madison Kohan; and sisters, Jacqueline, Roxanne, and Becky.
Andy was a big man with a big heart. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching TV, hunting, and fishing. He will be missed by many.
Burial will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Friday, 11/3/2023 at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends following the burial at the home of Kenneth and TaLisa Kohan.
