According to the agenda for the Hope Mills Board of Commissioners meeting on Monday, Town Manager Scott Meszaros was supposed to be recognized with an award from the International Association in honor of 25 years of service in local government. Instead, Mayor Jackie Warner announced that Meszaros had resigned effective immediately.
