Belinda Jewell Ratley
June 9, 1958 – July 24, 2026
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen D. Ratley; her father Neil James Ratley; and her brother, Steven James Ratley.
Belinda is survived by her brother, Neil Jocly Ratley, of Hope Mills; and her sister, Wanda R. Whitaker, of Fayetteville.
Belinda started with Barnhill Construction 33 years ago. Danny Barnhill promoted her to the first woman foreman in the history of the Heavy Highway Division.
She was very proud of her career with Barnhill, and was respected and loved by so many there. Belinda loved people, and would help all she came across.
A Visitation will be held from 6-7pm, Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home.
