Beverly Jean Thompson, 75, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Bev is survived by her son, Greg; four grandchildren, Meghan, Jessica, Mandee, and Abigail; sisters, Linda and Joann; and her three nieces, Ali, Dana, and Kelli.

 Bev had many facets in her life. It began growing up on the farm in MN, where she loved all things related to horses and touched many people’s lives with her knowledge and support. To going to St. Cloud State to become a hairdresser later, she ran the Lakeside Store Keeping the Bulk Christmas Candy Tradition going strong. Then working for a start up motorcycle accessory company and was a crucial part of their mass success. Later she moved to California and graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz, where she won an award in math and science. Bev loved the water and the beach.

Bev found her way to Washington State and after several years working as a florist, was able to retire and be with her family.

She spent her final years in North Carolina with her family enjoying sunshine, the beach, and time relaxing with the dogs.

The family will receive friends on July 31, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 2 to 2:45 pm. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm in the chapel.
