Bonita “Bonnie” Faye Ramsey was born on June 15, 1948, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, to Earl and Joyce Johnson.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Joyce Johnson; her brothers, Doug Johnson, Galen (Dean) Johnson, and William (Bill) Johnson; and her sister, Rebecca Joe “Becky” Yearley.

She is survived by her siblings: David Lee Johnson (Priscilla), Richard Allen Johnson (Tencha), Don Earl Johnson (Joyce, deceased), Dennis Eugene Johnson (Monica), and Doug Erwin Johnson (Mellisa).

On August 5, 1967, Bonnie married the love of her life, Vernon Clifford Ramsey. Together they built a wonderful life and were blessed with three sons: Jeffrey Mark Ramsey (Kimberly), Steve Ray Ramsey (Suzanne), and Timothy Wayne Ramsey (Robin).

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Dustin Coats (Brittany), Tyler (Alli), Taylor (Bruce), Austin, Sierra, Savanah, Kaylie, and David; as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Fitz and Christian.

Bonnie found joy in traveling, driving motorcycles, celebrating everything Christmas, and spending time in her greenhouses and gardens. She generously volunteered her time and rarely missed an opportunity to support her grandchildren at their many events. She was well known for sharing her delicious baked goods and savory recipes with family and friends. Bonnie loved hosting and entertaining, and everything she did reflected her generous spirit. Nothing she did was ever ordinary, she believed in doing everything with love, enthusiasm, and just a little extra.
