With less than 30 days until Election Day, CityView and Fayetteville State University’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences are partnering this Thursday to host “Behind the Headlines: A Q&A with CityView About Media and Elections.”
Join us in Room 238 in the Rudolph Jones Student Center from 5 to 6 p.m. as we talk about CityView’s elections coverage and enjoy light refreshments! Hear from CityView reporters and editors on how we tackle covering local races and national politics, from Cumberland County candidate forums to recent Fayetteville appearances from Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to learn more about why down-ballot voting matters and how you can be prepared when you head to the polls this year.
Along with the university’s student newspaper, The Voice, the partnering groups are collaborating to hold this AMA-style event for students, faculty, staff and community members to bring any and all queries about the 2024 election, local politics and Cumberland County and Fayetteville candidates. This event is free to attend.
