David Robinson, Sr. Obituary
Wayne Robinson, 80, passed away on September 21, 2026.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Melva Robinson; three brothers, Billy, Lawrence, and Frances Robinson; two sisters, Ethel and Grace; and his mother- and father-in-law, Jack and Rachel Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Jymmie (Gigi) Robinson; his daughter, Tonya Strickland and husband, Mike; his son, Wayne Robinson Jr. and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Taylor Mobley and husband, Jarratt, Kaitlin Robinson, Tyler Strickland and girlfriend Nikki Hansen, and Kendall Robinson; great-grandchildren, Jay and Summerlin Mobley; and a host of other family members and friends.
Wayne was a retired owner of Tarheel Electronics and a faithful husband and father. He was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, and was also a member of the Testimony Quartet. Wayne loved to sing and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
A funeral service will be held at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
