Doretha Rhone, 79, of 1125 Deep Creek Road, Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 11am at Salem Methodist Church, 2165 Middle Road in Eastover. Entombment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, William Rhone of the home. Her children, Alexander Powell and Stephanie Powell, both of Fayetteville, Cynthia Simmons of Hampton, VA, Bonita Austin of Brandywine, MD, Arnold Powell of Greensboro and Antonio Cummings of Richmond, VA. Grandchildren, Latoya Powell, Shante McLaurin (Kenneth), Michael Simmons (Savannah), Shanelle Powell, Tatiyania Powell and Bradley Hayes, along with twelve great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5-7pm.
