Elisabeth Hebler Glann, age 84, passed away on 4 August 2026. She spent her last days surrounded by the loving care of the many folks at the Village Green Facilities. She was born in Kettenham Germany, growing up in the beautiful mountains of Bavaria. She came to the United States to marry the love of her life. During this marriage she was able to travel a good part of the world as a dependent, making friends wherever she went. She loved taking in stray animals, doing volunteer Red Cross work, and working with her arts and craft projects.
Elisabeth was predeceased by her mother, Anna Hebler, father, Franz Xaver Huber, and brothers, Friedrich (Fritz), Gerhard, and Robert Hebler.
She is survived by her husband George Glann in Fayetteville, and her sister Rosalie Kaesweber of Germany. She will also be missed by many nephews and nieces both in the USA and Germany.
In lieu of flowers Elisabeth would have preferred donations to Best Friends, St Jude Children’s Hospital, or Duke Children’s Hospital.
