A Fayetteville man was shot to death Tuesday inside a vehicle on Kienast Drive during an altercation with another man, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

The victim was identified as Terence Malcolm Malik Hogue, 30.

Investigators said Hogue and a man he knows were arguing and shots were fired about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. Hogue suffered a gunshot wound and died at the scene, a news release said. 

Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting, which happened in the 1200 block of Kienast Drive.
