NASCAR driver Austin Dillon will visit with soldiers at Fort Bragg on Wednesday morning to help kick off Mission 600, a series of visits by some of the sport’s top drivers to regional military bases, according to a news release.

Dillion, the driver of the No. 3 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, will be joined by crew member Paul Swan and Greg Walter, general manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway.

They will visit with members of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team and 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, the news release said.

Leading up to its Memorial Day weekend celebration at the Coca-Cola 600, Charlotte Motor Speedway will continue its tradition of saluting America’s military. Dillon and Swan will meet with soldiers, see a UH60 Blackhawk in action, fire a Howitzer and participate in live-fire exercises, the release said.
