Good morning. Three new members of the Fayetteville City Council will be sworn in at 6 p.m. today at the Seabrook Auditorium on Fayetteville State University’s campus.
Stephon Ferguson (District 1), Antonio Jones (District 3), and Shaun McMillan (District 8) won seats on the council in the November election.
The three have distinct backgrounds but echo similar calls for transparency and public trust, economic opportunity, and responsive governance. They spoke with CityView about their campaign strategies and priorities for Fayetteville. Read more in today’s lead story.
