Patricia “Pat” Stewart Adams, 70, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 15, 2024. She left this earth in Chattanooga, TN, surrounded by her loving family.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Cornelia Stewart, her daughter, Sue Ann, and her son, Stewart Charles. She is survived by her devoted husband, William “Bill” Adams; her daughter, Melissa Edwards (Sam); her two grandsons, William and Josh, and her sister,ย ย Sue Palmer (Al), along with many others who cherished her deeply.
For over 20 years, Pat faithfully served her community as a teacher assistant in Cumberland County. She also drove a school bus for the same school and volunteered as a bus driver for her daughter’s high school marching band at Southview High. Pat selflessly gave to others in countless ways, whether through cooking, crafting, sewing, or simply offering a shoulder to lean on. Her home was a place of refuge for anyone in need, and she was a mama to many.
Her deep love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of her life. Pat’s unwavering faith shaped her family and will continue to be a cornerstone of their lives. She lived a life of service, kindness, and devotion to the Lord.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in the Rogers and Breece Chapel at 10 AM. Burial to follow the service at Lafayette Memorial Park.
