- Christian Rutledge, South View, football
Rutledge carried the ball 21 times for 178 yards and scored a whopping six touchdowns in South View’s season-opening 47-22 victory against Overhills.
- Taylor Baggett, Gray’s Creek, volleyball
A sophomore outside hitter for the Bears, Baggett had 31 kills, two blocks, two aces and nine digs last week in matches with Midway and D.H. Conley.
