Three women and a man were injured by gunfire on Saturday in two separate incidents, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
A shooting was reported about 5:15 p.m. Saturday in the area of Gillespie and Trade streets. Officers found two women who had suffered gunshot wounds, a news release said. They were taken to a hospital for treatment. One was in critical condition, and the other was in stable condition.
About 11 p.m. Saturday, a shooting was reported at the Speedway convenience story on South Eastern Boulevard, the release said. Officers found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital for treatment. The male was reported in critical condition, and the woman, in stable condition, the news release said.
